Wondering what the CSLB exam actually looks like?

Quick 20-Question Preview: A random sample covering Contractors’ License Law, Contracts, Mechanics Liens, Employment Law, Business, and Operations Management.
Real Exam Feel: Questions written in the same technical, legalistic style the CSLB uses—so nothing about the wording surprises you on test day.
Keep in mind: This warm-up is a preview, not a pass/fail predictor—the real exam draws from hundreds of rotating, highly technical questions. If these 20 questions feel tough, that’s normal: it’s exactly what the full study course is built to fix.

Master Every Testing Section
The CSLB builds the Law & Business exam from an official blueprint of seven content sections—and our study portal is organized to match it, section for section. Every topic area gets its own targeted lessons and mock question sets, so nothing on exam day comes from material you haven’t practiced.
