Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Can I begin my Continuing Education today?

ANSWER: Yes, you can begin your next round of Continued Education the day after your certification card renews.

QUESTION – FOR EXISTING STUDENTS: I completed your Continuing Education program. When do I receive my certificate of completion?

ANSWER: You will receive your certificate of completion via email within 24 hours of completing your lessons. We will submit your attendance to the state within 7 days of completion.

QUESTION: How often am I required to renew my Electrical License?

ANSWER: Every two years on July 15th of every even numbered year.

*A reminder notice may not be issued, so ALWAYS refer to your license for your expiration date.

QUESTION: How soon before my card is set to expire can I begin my renewal application to the State?

ANSWER: License and registration renewal is available 60 days prior to the expiration date.

Please check with your State Board for current information. Licensing requirements change and our site may not have been updated to reflect those changes.
